I would like to see us score in every conceivable way. I would like to see our defense prevent them from getting even one first down. May all their punts be returned for scores.

Let's pound Purdue so bad in the first half they don't even come out for the second half.

This makes me feel confident about our offense moving forward. We've already played 2 of the best defense in the country at 2 of the most hostile places to play in the country. Let's gain some confidence against PU then throttle Michigan.

Also, am I the only one who is superstitious thinking if we beat PU by 60 then we will stink it up against Michigan? Give me a nice 34-13 win, we cover the spread and still save some for Michigan.

I'm like everyone else, I want to win this game by 5 TD's or more with backups playing the 4th qtr. But what I really want is a win any way we can get it. We've somehow managed to save some of our worst efforts for Purdue consistently over the years and I hope that ends Saturday. Win the game, get to 5-1, stay healthy, and move on. That's priority 1.

Six teams in the Top 25 (technically 22) on this list are opponents this year.

If (yes, it's still if in my mind until it happens) we go bowling this year, or hit that 7-8 win mark that we think is very much possible, it will not have been a fluke.

I can't find the box score, but wasn't the Purdue game in 1989 where the refs called us for 200 yards in penalties? We won the game 14-2.

I love seeing this, seeing any time the beloved are ranked.
But I would appreciate an explanation.
I understand how we can move up 4 spots when we don't play.
Others move down.

But how does our defensive rating move up 2 points?
That must be something other than what I'm guessing it is.
Thanks in advance
