They then proceeded to hang four more on Wolves to win 5-3. It's probably a race between Gary O'Neill at Wolves and Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United to see who is the first Premier League firing/sacking of the season.
City have already ruled out Amorim as a candidate.Amorim would be quite the coaching domino considering he has to be high on the list of potential Pep replacements assuming Pep leaves City as expected. Sporting’s “GM” is heading to City after this season as well.
My guess is Amorim and Xabi Alonso would be the top two picks for City, and Alonso also has to be the assumed front-runner at Real Madrid when Ancelotti eventually retires. If Amorim heads to United, it could be quite the bidding war for Alonso if both clubs are committed to him.
Quite honestly, I don’t really believe that. I think it’s just press conference speak since Pep is still coaching there.City have already ruled out Amorim as a candidate.
City will let United hire Amorim and then turn around and buy him out in the summer once Pep leavesQuite honestly, I don’t really believe that. I think it’s just press conference speak since Pep is still coaching there.
Tottenham smells bad.
Is he going to blame the officiating for this as well? His complaining every single week really got old.Leicester City have sacked Steve Cooper after only 12 PL matches in charge.
What is really frustrating is that Spurs have the ability to do this against the top teams, but still end up giving Palace and Ipswich their first wins of the season in recent weeks as well.I know City is really struggling right now but getting thrashed 0:4 at home is still a bit shocking.
United away is not what it once was. Forest at home should be at least a point. With the new stadium coming, the Tofffees need to find a way to stay up.How would you like to have the Premier League fixture schedule for the team you support look like this for the month of December?:
-Manchester United away
-Wolves home
-Liverpool home
-Arsenal away
-Chelsea home
-Manchester City away
-Nottingham Forest home
That's what Everton has and, aside from the Wolves match, that's an absolutely brutal stretch to have to go through.
I know that United aren't what they once were but that'll be Amorim's first match in charge so it will be tough.United away is not what it once was. Forest at home should be at least a point. With the new stadium coming, the Tofffees need to find a way to stay up.
