Lots of fundamental lapses, poor ft shooting, and ultimately going away from the unselfish play that we’ve seen just too many times

Imagine if I said we would’ve held Sears to 0!!

Excellent early season stress test. Love the scheduling. I’m still very high on this team. Lot of room to grow and improve which we will. Alabama is really really good. And so are we. Onwards and upwards.
You said what I wished I had said but you said it before I could say it.

Welp. A 10 to 15 pt loss was pretty much how I saw this one going. But I’m proud of our boys with how we battled in the 2H. Alabama has too much firepower.

-KJ, Kylan and Riley all played really well tonight, for the most part.

- Grant Nelson is really hard to guard and he heated up way too early

-Kylan and other guards kept Mark Sears scoreless- hard to do.

- Tomi ran out of gas and the drop coverage was not as active. Cliff onoruyi got to rest for like 30 mins and it showed the last 2 minutes.

Guys, our team is still really good. I think(and hope) we will win on thanksgiving.

Liked the fight to get back into the game in the 2nd half. I think we saw Boswell finally become more assertive and aggressive on the offensive side. We need more of that from him consistently. He can be a dawg for us if he wants to be.

There's something about Will Riley and great 2nd half performances. I think he needs to start so he can get into a rhythm quicker. I'm out in Tre White at this point. He's nothing more than a role player and bench piece. Riley has earned the starting nod and if BU doesn't make the change soon, then something is not right there.

Anyone want to fight me on the Ty Rodgers v. Tre White debate any further? Tre not very impressive. Not awful but not good either.

I come out of this game actually encouraged that they kept pace throughout much of the game after going down by double digits midway through the 1st half. But, this team doesn't know how to play defense and that is a big problem that will probably be a big problem all season long. We're going to have to outshoot teams

A friend of mine is a Zona fan, he said Boswell is either hot or cold. When he is cold, he is a liability. This game he did better.

Need to put 5 guys on the floor who can defend and score and will give consistent effort. Learning that everyone on this roster can score, not everyone can defend.

Kylan, DGL, Riley: not worried about any of them. They’re going to bring the intensity and are more than capable on both sides of the ball. I thought this was by far our best 1-2-3 lineup we rolled out tonight.

Morez: great defensive flashes so far. Going to need more from him at the foul line and stronger finishes near the rim

Tomi: I thought he really struggled to defend but not every 5 man is gonna be a shooter. Still, he needs to be more active in drop

KJ: He’s obviously offensively gifted. Defensively, the jury's still out. I think he gets picked on too much for a 6’6” guard. Need him to be tougher overall

Ben: I don’t care if he hits 10 threes a game, he needs to be less of a defensive liability. Tonight, he got exposed

Tre: going through it right now. It starts with effort and decision making. We’ll need him, and he’ll figure it out.

Booth: I fear he’s slowly becoming irrelevant and looks like more of a freshman than our freshmen

I really liked that KJ was looking to get his in the 1st half; not sure where that went in the 2nd.

That was Boswell’s best game by far. Looked to score and completely shut down Sears.

The way we’re defending the ball screens isn’t working. And the way we tried to run Bama off the three point line in the second half just led to a layup line to the rim. Need to figure that out, big time.

Free throws! 🤦🏾‍♂️

Will Riley has to start and morez has to play at least 20 minutes a game

If you told me before the game that Sears would score no points and Bama would still hang a hondo on us, I would tell you to stop brewing your own moonshine in the woods. Our D, toughness, and FT shooting need a ton of work, but the team never gave up and there were a few bright spots, especially in the second half. We knew team chemistry would be a process the first 2 months. I really want to see a floor leader emerge though.

Not a team for the Pizza Hut parking lot, don't play with an edge, too many weak turnovers and cannot make free throws....never in this game. It takes unbelievable discipline and toughness to make free throws and be a consistently good player throughout a game like this.. I like our rookies, but their frosh were better tonight, although I thought Will Riley played well at times.

Defense has to improve if we are going to compete in the B$G......

WAYYYYYY too many layups given up tonight..

Seemed like every bama screen freed up the dribbler whereas our screens didn't.......

Will Riley starts next game instead of Trey White if I was deciding it....He really really would.....
