Every offensive possession we had two guys in the baseline corner doing nothing. EVERY time.

I feel like we are back to being a moral victory kind of team, where we make it close so everybody thinks everything is ok.

What we are doing currently is a wreck in progress. That's mildly putting it.
I simply hope our beloved Coach Underwood doesn't have to get a cast on his foot from kicking so many back sides and trash cans at halftime!

The only real individual that I am negative on is Tre White. Have not seen a thing from him all season that says he should be a starter.

This could have easily been a game we turned off a few minutes into the second half but the boys kept fighting.

Bama returned some key pieces from a final four team and reloaded with talent. The Skyy Is not Falling people

Illini defense has to improve if we want to compete in the B$G....

Seems like every bama freed up the dribbler...ourselves not so much...

Will Riley needs to start over Trey White....

NEXT...........

We played well enough on offense to win most nights.

We played poor enough on defense to lose most nights.

This team is still in the honeymoon phase for me so I'm not mad or disappointed. But get better.

*We played a top 10 Alabama team IN Alabama. There are few teams in the country who would have pulled out a win tonight.
And coming off a loss at Purdue. Would be shocked if Alabama ever loses 2 in a row this season.

A friend of mine is a Zona fan, he said Boswell is either hot or cold. When he is cold, he is a liability. This game he did better.
That's where he needs to put it together more consistently as an upperclassman. He has it in him to do it. A game like this one shows that. I was tired of the passive Boswell. We need a more aggressive Boswell b/c this young team needs his assertiveness

Going to preface this by saying I'm not mad at him at ALL, but that morez tap in when we would've cut it to 7 hurt.

Love the effort from him even though it was a negative play (both the swat on defense to start it, and running the floor so hard that he was the second player at the hoop even though he started behind the play)

Can't wait til he gets more comfortable out there

Still excited about this team. I expect a lot of the sloppy stuff will get fixed gradually and we'l look quite a bit different by mid jan

Concerned about Tomi and Ben as well... not many offensively but a lot defensively. We need to get tougher on that end... I thought offense was okay.

Can't get down so fast out of the gate vs top teams in their backyard. That said I was encouraged by Boswells play and this will make our young guys better. He had a lot to do with Sears struggling. Gotta hit FTs and we did win on the glass. Young guys first taste in essentially a road game. We will be fine with experience.

What?? No! This is a team that was #2 that lost in Mackey with a 56% 3 point shooting performance for Purdue. Too early to call

When Will is on a heater…let him chuck and chase down any heat checks that go wrong. He seems like the type to get red hot and then someone else tries to play hero ball.

This season will remind me of the season three years ago with Shannon, Mayer and a bunch of newcomers. That team was young, soft and couldn't guard a chair. This team will have 10+ losses.
