There wasn't really a chance for McNamara iirc, he had close ties with someone on the staff there already. It came down to Card and Luke, and frankly, we don't know how much of it was the staff, it's possible Card would have worked out here but he's much less of an athlete compared to Altmyer.

So I'm seeing our 2025 class ranked as #15 in the Big 10 (and one of only two teams without any 4* or 5* players). To buoy my spirits over the holidays, what are the "key recruiting indicators" I should be staring at rather than these rankings?
(And yes I do realize that returning minutes will be much more important for next season's results. We should be in good shape here!)
