Rutgers losing like that, on senior day, has to be the worst loss I’ve ever seen. Reminds me of the Minnesota Vikings miracle somewhat. Even though Bryant caught the ball with nobody around him, and then ran into the end zone with nobody really even close to tackling him.

You could watch football 100 years and never see that.

Given that the clock stops on 1st downs, he could have just caught the ball, ran a little and took a dive. Illinois spikes it and kicks a much shorter FG. But running it all the way in is wow…I almost feel bad for Rutgers but bad coaching get you losses that are deserved. There wasn’t anything fluky about that play just a Rutgers defense that had no clue what they were doing.

To leave Bryant wide open…the guy that’s been killing you all game. Insane

Does Bret give Schiano the game ball for giving us a practice kick so we could see how bad the wind was, then calling a timeout so Bret could change his mind and go for it on 4th down?

Was there a safety at the end officially or no? Just going off chatter but score doesn't seem to indicate it.
Yes. Illegal forward pass out of RU endzone during KO return scramble. Safety called as result.

Definitely one of the worst attempts of trying to score with laterals (I believe they went backwards at least 25 yards).
