Our 3rd highest ranked recruit in the 247 composite, and that moves us up to the #43 class, just head of IU. Not bad!

yes, and most of this class was baked in before we rang up our VG season. 43 is pretty good, in context. this season's results should prove fruitful on the recruiting front. there's no reason we shouldn't continue moving up the recruiting food chain. not a slave to the rankings/ratings (it's a crapshoot), but hoping for a low 30s ranking next class. it's do-able

I just saw on Bigten network that Iowa got a really good class thanks to players from Illinois... that really pisses me off.

We had around two dozen players leave via the portal during the December 2023 and Spring 2024 windows. Expect just as many or more this year

Guys outside the two deep, guys who are second string but want starter snaps, and starters who want more NIL money -- we'll see all of that. The trick is to bring in even better guys to replace them on the two deep. Give to Icon.

I would have to imagine that Kaden Feagin now moves to LB. If that happens, still a very good RB room with a lot of depth and options to choose from.
i’ve been thinking this out loud on here for a couple days . I gotta think that’s a real strong possibility

Kaden can play on Sundays in a couple years , but not as a RB

How high was faegin regarded as a LB out of high school? IIRC he played both ways.
