I know I made a crack at Tucker DeVries, but that guy is ice cold. Just drilled a 27-footer to put WVU up double digits. Also has 7 rebounds. He is just such a fundamentally sound and skilled player. Got to watch him at Drake for a few years, and he's legitimate.

While I'm probably focusing more on the West Virginia game on my dual feed, what I'm seeing about IU pretty much confirms what I think about Mike Woodson's offense. Long 2s rule!!

Everyone has played cupcakes. We have also played Arkansas and Alabama where it could have skewed the other direction. Our defense has been good.
The games thread where Hurley was getting blasted for his comments about MTEs is closed, so I’ll put this here. Brad had already been on record saying he didn’t want to play in them, and here he is again.

As much as seeing the Illini lost stunk, the night was made better by seeing Ed Cooley lose. Epps was very efficient in the 1st half and then just kept chucking shots in the 2nd half and kept missing. I was surprised that Georgetown stayed with West VA for about 25-30 mins but then after their freshman big man, Sorber, got into foul trouble, West Va took the lead/control of the game. Enjoyed seeing Sencire going head to head against Epps
In his postgame presser, he literally referred to most of his players(excluding Epps and Peavy) as still in Johnson and Johnson diapers. That dude needs a reality check. If you want to find a way to lose your players, just continue to demean them Ed. That'll get you far
