Am I stating the obvious, or am I missing some subtleties, but wouldn't this seem like a step down?
I think the only thing you are missing is CPatt wasn't qualified for the role he had at PU (which is more of an indictment that high level people didn't want to work with little RyRy) than anything else. He's known recruiter (who I think has lost his influence) and an adequate position coach.
