Looks like he'll have 2 years remaining. Played 2 at EIU, transferred to Ball St for 1 year, where he played in 4 games, then redshirted.

Actually Bowicks last 2 games were dominate. He finished with a total of 319 yards receiving and 3 TD's. He had 171 against Miami (Oh) and 148 against Buffalo. That's the potential Illinois saw in him.

Yeah, I don't really get it either. Miami probably has the longest and most egregious history of not following through with their NIL promises. I would think that would negatively impact their recruiting but it just hasn't happened yet.
Wonder if it's because of the U's history, or the climate, or they think it'll be different for them, but surprising recruits haven't gotten the memo that whatever they're being promised there, they ain't getting. Any insider know what's going on there to convince recruits otherwise?

I get the answer is “we don’t know” but…..is Howard good? Wisconsin was really thin at d-line all year and didn’t record a tackle. He does still have three years of eligibility. At worst he’s got a better chance of being useful than Sledge going into last year.
