Still better than Ben. It's just the shot... way better on defense (comparitively) and rebounds... just a matter of time with the shot. Seems like it's a little in his head IMO.Absolutely need to get Will Riley going.
How many times in a row can we say this? This feels like a Will Riley bounce back game.
I agree but who has been the bigger disappointment at this point in the season ? I say possibly Will because we've had a lot higher expectations for him. Unless someone thought Ben was going to be this year's version of Marcus.Still better than Ben. As many as it takesHow many times in a row can we say this?
Should be a bounce back game for anybody; Chicago State is always lousy. This feels like a Will Riley bounce back game.
That myth goes around basketball all the time. Strength training should help your muscle endurance and keep you from getting overly fatigued late in games. It's more likely the pace of the game at this level and the better competition is doing it, but folks (and their players) don't want to hear that when they've always been told they're the best.Had a conversation the other day with someone who is very close with the family of one of our guys who is struggling from distance. They seemed to think that the heavy strength training is playing a role in the shooting woes, fwiw. Who knows, but thought it was interesting.
Nah, I'm still in campus #1. There's delays have been killer.Me: “Why do I have to wait 8 days for more Illinois basketball?”

Goal 1 - win the gameCoach needs to feature Will so he can get his confidence back.
So, you’re saying Chicago State is due?Chicago State is 0-14. On one hand, it should definitely be a confidence builder, but on the other, I'm not sure how much it will help with any issues that have surfaced against actual competition.
Also, KJ doesn't seem to mind the strength training. Going from 30 something last season in Europe, to 42% now. That myth goes around basketball all the time.
