Noticed something funny- last week I commented that I could see an argument for us to be ranked above Michigan and Clemson and take the #24 spot and sure enough that's what happened this week.

Knowing what we have seen against TN and others, if we keep maturing, we will be the strongest dark horse to win the tournament. How many teams played less than their best, were mugged in the 1st half, then threw the ball away only to lose because we didn’t guard the last play of the game and it’s not even conference season yet?

As frustrating as it is now, can’t wait to see where this goes.

The Big-Ten has 11 teams receiving votes. Only Rutgers, Northwestern, Washington, Nebraska and Minnesota received no votes. Plenty of competition to move up the ladder.

Whoops forgot to add USC and Iowa as the BIG now has 18 teams.

I hate seeing the SEC dominate in basketball too. Having lived in SEC country for 15 years, they’re insufferable for college football. Don’t need this to become a trend for basketball too.
In fairness, the B1G seems more dominant in football this year. And moving forward, it's going to be a lot of SEC vs. B1G plus some also-rans.

Iowa state wasn’t ranked until around Jan 1 last year and ended up as a 2 seed that should have been a 1 - plenty of opportunities to earn it the next 20 games!
