That's wild.Wild Kylan Boswell stat:
In 71 games at Arizona, he had 58 free throw attempts, total.
In 11 games at Illinois, he has 54 free throw attempts. He has as many FTA the last two games as he did his entire freshman year.
Ithe obvious emphasis the staff has put on him attacking the rim. It will make him a better all-around weapon, especially when his 3s start falling.

To be fair, some of his worst moments are also in crunch time. He's still growing. And it's fun to watch.
I might be a bit off, but his game, combined with his work ethic, reminds me of Larry Bird.
Once when Birdās ISU played EIU in Charleston, they won by about 25, but Bird stayed after, practicing his shot because he missed, I think four, shots.

KJ obviously quicker, but Larry Bird was a very underrated athlete for a 6'10 guy, imo. Especially early in his career.

I do enjoy listening to them, though. I appreciate the coverage they give the Illini--whether it's non-sensical or not.
While I agree with most that it is important to see Riley and Hum start shooting better, I think having Boswell get back to his pre-Illini 3 point average of .399 would be a huge improvement in this team. KJ and Bam could be a key in the tourney, where top guards become even more important. With my orange colored glasses, I could see the Illini have the 2 best PGs in the conference.
