Illinois up to #19 in KenPom and #9 in the Net Rankings. So it is possible to move up in the rankings playing the team ranked 361 out of 364. You just have to win by 53 points.

Illinois and Houston are probably the most under ranked compared to KenPom and the Net Rankings. The most over ranked are Kentucky, Oklahoma, Memphis, and Arkansas. Those teams are ranked 15-25 spots higher than the computers. Purdue is also a bit over ranked 27KP/37Net.

Seems about right. Win two in Pacific NW and climb some more.

I think if we win TWO (including on the road vs. #9 Oregon), we might even move into the top 10 ... even just beating Washington handily and losing a close game in Eugene likely keeps us right around #20 or possibly a drop down to #21 or #22.

I will be pleasantly surprised if we beat Oregon Thursday.... They looked quite a bit better playing the Tide than we did. Hoping I'm wrong against a top ten team a long way from home.

On another note: Watched Roger Powell and his Valpo team duke it out with Bradley yesterday in double OT..... His team was not near as athletic, but played like he did back in the day. Hard and smart. Look out for them if he can step up the recruiting!
