I was a little wary of a Duck Rose Bowl win, which surely would have led to players being introduced during a time out to get the crowd pumped up in the way we lost in Ann Arbor when Harbaugh was introduced.Looking forward to Ducks fans being disappointed two nights in a row.
You serious, Clark? I doubt the players would be back in Eugene that fast, and the school wouldn't do that on a day the students are gone. Plus, it may be the Rose Bowl but it's also only a quarterfinal.I was a little wary of a Duck Rose Bowl win, which surely would have led to players being introduced during a time out to get the crowd pumped up in the way we lost in Ann Arbor when Harbaugh was introduced.
I have a feeling that if Texas or Georgia wins the championship, all the chatter about how the SEC is overrated will be forgotten by ESPN and other pro-SEC sports writers, as well as the fact that the B1G owns the SEC this year (what is it now, 4-1 in the postseason?). They will be crowing about the SEC winning the championship while conveniently forgetting the poor showing overall. The SEC is overrated. Arizona State almost beat Texas, Tennessee got smoked by Ohio State, 2 out of the 3 loss SEC teams that said they should be in the CFP all lost, Texas A&M lost and Missouri barely beat Iowa. LSU and most of the lower tier SEC teams won by a larger margin. We’ll see what happens tomorrow with Ole Miss.
Sugar Bowl rescheduled for 3:00 PM CT tomorrow afternoon. Not sure why they aren't having it in primetime but it looks like ESPN is already set to have Gator Bowl tomorrow night and I'm sure there's some logistical reason for them not moving Gator Bowl up.
Both teams requested to have the game moved earlier so that the winning team had as much rest & recovery time as possible before facing their next opponent (PSU).
The part that people don't seem to understand is, you have to win the games. I don't think it's that difficult to grasp. I have no doubt that Alabama is 1 of the 12 best teams in the nation, but they didn't win the games. Thus, they didn't earn the right to be in the playoffs.

Agree except I'm not sure Alabama is a top-12 team this yearThe part that people don't seem to understand is, you have to win the games. I don't think it's that difficult to grasp. If you're just going to say, well on paper, or at their best, these are the top 12 teams, then why even play the season? Just have the 12 teams start the playoffs from day 1.

yea, whoever stepped in to replace Saben was in for a tough couple years. There is an obvious drop off in coaching from Saben to DeBoer. Not that DeBoer can’t win big there, but he’s not yet in the same league as Saben.
And it was the poor punters first ever college punt!!ND just smoked Georgia's punter 2x in back to back punts. LMAO. 5-yarders each time.

I'd be willing to bet a pretty significant amount that these two things are very related. In other words, ND was sending a message. And it was the poor punters first ever college punt!!
Agreed - Which is probably why Kirby declined the 2nd punt flag.I'd be willing to bet a pretty significant amount that these two things are very related. In other words, ND was sending a message.
I have the over 40.5 on this game. The 2 offenses better pick up the pace.
Super weird game so farGeorgia sub in street clothes pulls a Beckman and costs Georgia 15 yards after a big UGA play. Stay off the white border, kids.
