Yeah, but the spread might be 25 pts now.Not sure we have another superlative game in us on this excrutiating West Coast trip. I predict Washington will cover the spread.
Yes, but it's my kind of crazyAm I crazy to think we could get 120+ and double them up?

One insurance policy I think the Illini have this season is their extraordinary depth. If a couple of guys just don’t have it, Brad has lots of good options on his bench…as evidenced against Oregon. No freaking let downs, please. Our coaches need to impress upon our guys that it's human nature to want to let up in terms of concentration after a night like tonight. And that a loss to an inferior team erases what we worked for this evening. We need to show up focused and ready to cook.
We can bring him in to run the ol’ let the rebound bounce off your head and go out of bounds play!Booth’s breakout game???
Well, we certainly should have a bit of our own.Washington just beat a solid Maryland team so they might have some confidence.
. . . and the game against Oregon has proved it. The bench can play. No excuses. Be Elite. One insurance policy I think the Illini have this season is their extraordinary depth. If a couple of guys just don’t have it, Brad has lots of good options on his bench…as evidenced against Oregon.
Best thing that could of happened, if you are Coach Underwood!!! Helps bring everyone down to earth real quick and focus.Washington just beat a solid Maryland team so they might have some confidence.
I'll instead argue that we should be 2nd seed. Now that I know how this bench can play, I'd take the Illini to cover the spread.
BU will not let this team rest. Make this West Coast trip a blowout of epic proportions.
With this win, the Illini should either be a 4 or 5th seed now, imo. We'll see how Lunardi projects. They were either a 6 or 7th seed prior to this game.
I'm not going to Google Search, but I'd almost bet that BU has a winning record at nearly all of those conference road venues except Purdue and Maryland. (He's now in his 8th season and he's 82-59 overall vs Big10 opponents in the regular season, and he's dominated in league play in 5 of the 7 previous full seasons.)Brad Underwood: Road Warrior!
At Illinois, Brad has won a road game on every B1G campus where he’s coached. Checked off Oregon tonight and only has the other three Pac Newcomers to finish off.
Indiana - Assembly Hall
Iowa - Carver-Hawkeye Arena
Maryland - Xfinity Center
Michigan - Crisler Center
Michigan State - Breslin Center
Minnesota - Williams Arena
Nebraska - Pinnacle Bank Arena
Northwestern - Welch-Ryan Arena
Ohio State - Value City Arena
Penn State - Bryce-Jordan Arena
Purdue - Mackey Arena
Rutgers - Jersey Mike’s Arena
Wisconsin - Kohl Center
Oregon - Matthew Knight Arena
Washington - Hec Edmundson Pavilion
UCLA - Pauley Pavilion
USC - Galen Center
If not for the collapse at Penn State last year, Brad would have a win at every road venue. Rec Hall will likely remain his elusive white whale.
