Kinda reminds me of the situation that florida state faced the season prior.if uga qb was going to sit they still wouldn't have dropped them not with all the sec love especially before bowl season started.even though how sec teams played in the bowl games let's see if next season if things change

Congrats to the North Central Cardinals on their 3rd Stagg Bowl win in the last 5 yrs. Would be 4 in 5 if not for a 2pt conversion being stuffed last season.

If they can turn themselves into a powerhouse anyone can. They were brutal when I was there!

PJ Fleck has that Beckman/High School Harry schtick about him but give the guy credit he wins consistently at a place that's tough to do that.
PJ is much, much better than Beckman. Beckman could not speak. Not sure he had the intellect, people skills, nor the general likeability to be a Big10 head coach.

I went to IWU. North Central was always putrid back in the day. Good for them on becoming a powerhouse.

Case in point: showing up at Penn State to pillage the Lions immediately following the Sandusky scandal while emblazoned in Illinois gear. I had zero problems with going there and pillaging, but doing so loud and proud was the issue. Do that stuff covertly.

When I was a Wabash the big two were UW Whitewater & Mount Union. I think we drew Mount Union in the playoffs a year or two after I graduated and got pummeled. I was so excited we made the playoffs until I saw who we had to play.

Yep Mt Union is the one I remember the most. They were a true powerhouse.

North Central's QB Luke Lehnen is a 2020 Chatham Glenwood grad and he recently won the D-III equivalent of the Heisman for the 2nd straight year.

North Central tied the D-III record for largest win in a semifinal when they beat Susquehanna University 66-0. Cardinals scored TDs on their first nine possessions.

Worked in C'Ville at Lithonia Lighting for a couple of years before transferring south with the company.. Took the opportunity to walk your campus and surrounding area a few times. Nice campus and area. Learned about Little Giant basketball history. Viewed the large Civil War alumni plaque. Came away impressed.

Correct. He also set the all-divisions record for passing efficiency (211.9) and total TDs (213), and tied the record for passing TDs (162).

He'll probably get drafted as well (MLB), he's a heck of an athlete. Especially coming from a small town!

CCIW representing again!

I grew up in the early-to-mid 80s in the Quad Cities, and my dad graduated from Augustana. I still remember the Bob Reade Wing-T days when Augustana would play their playoff games in front of near-sellouts Rock Island Public Schools Stadium and just bludgeon whoever was in front of them. They ran about six plays (three plays in each direction), and no one could stop them. There were times where I genuinely think Augustana could have told them what play and where, and they would still get 10 yards.

It's a great school, proud to say i graduated from Wabash. Very rigorous, small classes, easy access to professors, and a fantastic alternative to UI. Only drawback, depending on how one looks at it, is that it is all male. Centrally located to 3 B1G campuses. I spent many weekends in Champaign.

Chatham always has good athletes. Something in the water there.

I have
PSU beating ND
OSU covering vs Ga

what say you ?

Assuming typo? Georgia is gone. But I think OSU will beat Texas handily. Notre Dame PSU is more of a toss up but I think the two headed running game and Allar for PSU is too much for ND. Love the grit of Riley Leonard but if it comes down to him having to win through the air I think it'll get messy.

I hate to pull for the Golden Gomers, but I'll never root for Chester the Molester U*.

ND: 17
CMU: 14

TOSU: a bunch
TX: a little

* On edit - it has nothing to do with the athletes there, it is my indictment of the University structure that to this day refuses to acknowledge the wrongs done by their staff.
