Any word on if the team is on their way back from Seattle or coming back tomorrow? With the weather around here right now, I know they brought up during the game the possibility that the team may not fly back tonight. I had thought if they were going to fly back (even with a charter), then they would go to Chicago and bus the team down from there as I could see it being dicey flying into Savoy.

We NEED to shore up our post defense or Nederhauser and Hicks will eat us alive down low. The good news is that Penn State doesn't have much in the way of depth up front, so if we can get both of these guys in foul trouble, we'll be cruising. The bad news is that our guys have not done well against big post players, and the 250 pound 7 foot Nederhauser is definitely that. He's their second leading scorer.
Post defense was not our Achilles against Washington, it was the three point line. Mainly one player, Davis who went on a heater. If it wasn't for him we would have beat them by 25.

And it really wasn't horrible defense on the 3 point line. Dude was just on fire.

Trust me.....flying into CMI tonight is WAY safer than this.

They need to stay at a Motel 6.

Too many conveniences and distractions at their 5 star hotel on long stays.

Motel 6 will keep the lights on for them.

PSU is a decent 3pt shooting team, but they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn against IU. That worries me.

That being said, it should be an exciting game. They like to play fast and force turnovers, so if we can take care of the ball we will be able to put up some points.

Wouldn't mind seeing more 4 guard lineups to attack their pressure. Slide Tre White to the 4 to get DGL/Will on the court with Bos and KJ.

I think we come back down to earth a bit after some emotional wins out west. Don't roast me for this one, until hopefully after the game when I'm proven wrong :)

PSU: 85
ILL: 77

Brilliant strategy!!!!! Seems to fool the basketball gnomes almost every time. There is no doubt in my mind that fate is always against my wishes. Stating on a public forum that you expect an outcome contrary to what every other poster wants to happen will....more often than not....result in the hoops gods being fooled into arranging for the opposite result simply because the world is in a conspiracy against our beloved Illini hoopsters as history has proven over and over.

And don't think I am paranoid....this is pure fact.
