Even in the message he’s…interesting… “the last time you saw Illinois it was down 30”

How about last time you saw them they were an old team on an Elite 8 run? Why is it relevant that a really good team got killed by a historic UConn team to end the year.
100% agreed with you, @eas23, and @OrangeBlue98

Lunardi was both insulting us and complimenting us. Regardless, I do like the press. If we keep kicking a$$, the narrative will continue to change favorably and we’ll get more press.

I think the last time most people saw Illinois it was when they were wiping the floor with Arkansas on Thanksgiving. Wasn't that the second-highest rated college basketball game... ever? of this century? Something?

Really? May 1952 make me 72+
Same here-73 in February. Maybe I’m the oldest the board…And I know not many outside of Illini Nation and Duck fans watched the Illini vs. Oregon 30 point Illinois victory since it was on tv so late, but wouldn’t people have seen that score and thought that the Illini might be pretty, pretty good this year? Especially sports reporters like Lunardi who are paid to know?

Illini roll in this early start time....

Illini. 88
condoms 71

condoms looked very pedestrian against a mediocre loosiers team and I believe we will handle them in a SFC beatdown......the Illini are on a next level performance standard with offense and defense really jelling right now.....

The curse of the zitteny lambs has been lifted and it's a full bore from now through to the hoisting of that Natty trophy....

WHY NOT US ??????

I'M feeling no pain right now....I really really ain't.....sis I'm 73 and 1/2 and loving life.....

Let's keep stacking those Big Ten wins as much as possible.

If we blow out another team, without KJ again especially…I will be way too hype about the team going into next week

Sleepers Media speculating KJ had some type of accident and hurt his hands. Supposedly there are photos online and his hands look like they have abrasions and cuts
The “abrasions and cuts” on his right hand have been there for at least a month as I saw them in a picture that was from the Wisconsin game.

However, his left hand does look NOTICEABLY swollen……. so who knows what’s up with that.

We are going to need KJ next week. Two very important road games. MSU n Ind are playing good ball now. Win Saturday and sweep on the road we are on our way for the rest of the BT season. Beat USC.
That’s an ambitious forecast. I like it.

Tomorrow is equally as important as the games next week. A loss to USC at home would be far more harmful than two road losses. If he can play, he needs to play. I don't expect repeat performances from some of the unexpected sources. This is not a gimmee.
