Ha! Yeah, but most of those yards were against other SEC teams.Oh come on you expect a team that rushed for...*checks notes* almost 2500 yards this year to get the ball through from the 1? /s

This guy approves of this post . . . (sorry Bears fans)Texas put themselves in the history book with one of the worst goal line sequences in the history of football. They were first and goal at the freaking 1. I don't know, that call for a run sweep reeks of cowardice. Man up. You are at the 1 goal line run through them.
In Sawyer's defense, it looked like he was giving his convoy time to set up, and it helped because there were a couple of Texas receivers giving chase. If Sawyer really was thinking that, incredibly smart play.About a 20 second 90 yard dash
Not sure he was thinking anything based on his postgame interview, when he said "I almost blacked out" when the ball bounced into his arms.In Sawyer's defense, it looked like he was giving his convoy time to set up, and it helped because there were a couple of Texas receivers giving chase. You're right. I watched the interview this morning. For a Columbus-area kid who has wanted nothing else than to play football for Ohio State, that had to be a surreal moment. Not sure he was thinking anything based on his postgame interview, when he said "I almost blacked out" when the ball bounced into his arms.
One of the best postgame interviews I've seen in a while as he also said Ewers' response to him afterward was a playful "Screw you!" The two used to room together at OSU.

That would be akin to Kylan Boswell hitting a 3 to put Illinois ahead in a Final Four semifinal (not that I'm trying to speak that into existence or anything . . .)
he's not wrong:
to be clear, the playing field is hardly level. but its a helluva lot more level now
The gap between the AQ and the G5 will widen with the exception of the rare G5 school with a huge NIL base, not even sure what schools that would be. I think it either ends with the AQ forming their yet another division of college football, or some serious guidelines for the FBS need to be implemented.

Great drive, but the domer QB took 9 carries on that drive and got absolutely brutalized at least a couple of times and took many hits. I'd bet against him being able to sustain that sort of effort the rest of the game.tOSU getting manhandled so far.
Agreed. He had some great efforts and the domer O-line had the OSU front flowing backwards on those short yardage situations. The problem is going to come when ND is forced to pass as we saw on that subsequent domer drive.Leonard can’t win the game for ND by running the ball all game
it was impressive tho
