I’m in the camp that believes the Gophers will go winless in the B1G this year, but I hope you’re right. I just don’t see them with any player that matches up well with any team, let alone Michigan. I will gladly rerturn to eat crow though, if necessary.
Glad that didn’t age well

Meanwhile, Memphis doing Memphis things again once conference play hits. Difference this year is that the AAC is  terrible, and every loss is a bad loss.
Temple gets 21 from Jamal Mashburn Jr., son of the NBA great and former Gopher.

You would expect bad losses like this from a young team...but Memphis doesn't seem to play a single freshman.

Jase Butler took the DJ Davis minutes and it wasn’t pretty
Oh shoot, how far have we come. That dude was a total after thought, and forgot he went to Washington. Wasn't it because we wouldn't guarantee him playing time? LOL because dude is barely playing for a very mediocre/average Washington team.

Minny is objectively the worst big ten team and arguably the worst in P5.

USC has the horses to win games, this is one of the worst losses in conference play league wide.
Have you seen some of the acc teams / analytics?

USC has already moved up to a Q2, Minn has no chance of getting out of Q3 so going to ultimately be a bigger stain on Michigan than our loss even if it was at home. I kept waiting for Minn to blow it with every possession and they did just enough! Shout out to Vlad and his very unclutch FTs in OT and end of regulation
I agree this is worse than our loss to USC, but because this was away for Michigan I think Minn only needs to move up a few spots for this to become a Q2 loss for them.

Watching Nebraska....I like their personnel and Hoiberg is a really good coach! Gonna be a tough W for us at their place.
And Nebraska has won 25 straight home games (or something like that)

Memphis played poorly. They gave Temple an insane amount of second chance opportunities and missed some crucial free throws down the stretch. I wasn’t impressed but I was rooting for Dainja. He was aggressive.

It actually might be a Q2 loss tomorrow, basically the same way ours happened. They are 137th in NET today and they just need to move up two spots to become a Q2 loss.

Watching Rutgers for the first time. Harper and Bailey look legit. Amazing that their record is so bad.

Both Maryland and Northwestern field goals in overtime are 1/4 and both teams are 0 for 2 from 3. Lol.
