The line opened at MSU -3.5. I don’t believe it has swung much at all.
I saw another post mentioning a line but they were pulling up the football game from November that showed Illinois as a 3.5 favorite. That might’ve been the confusion.
The line just reflects betting. Too many people were betting on MSU, so the line changed to get more action on Illinois.
This line has been rather steady.
