It sucks to be so unexcited for the polls today. Absolutely demolish Indiana on their home floor. Then even if you ignore the nonsense that transpired within the game itself, we lose by 2 to maybe the hottest team in the country on the road who will undoubtedly be in the top 10 after today. If we drop at all, especially since like 15 other ranked teams lost this week, it shows how nonsensical the whole thing can be. I think we all know we have a top 15 and probably top 10 team. Oh well, let's prove it in March.

It sucks because the refs literally made it almost impossible to win that game.

I say 24 or 25

Memphis and Michigan will drop and I could see Wisconsin perhaps making a little leap. I don’t see it being any worse than 21 but I’m going with 20.

Up 2 spots

Illinois #17 in AP Poll

Excellent - everyone knows 2 big road wins should move you up. Unfortunately 1 of them was taken away but the entire public saw it so moving up is right. Most will say a close road loss to msu shouldn’t move you but we know how the AP votes normally, if it was not so obvious what occurred yesterday, we probably stay at 19 or even move down one.

A couple of days removed has helped me regain some rationality. As much as that loss aggravated me, the bigger picture is being prepared and firing on all cylinders in March. I don’t even care as much about conference standings anymore. This team is becoming increasingly dangerous on all levels. Every player has grown and Brad’s ability to motivate and get everyone bought in is no small feat at all. I’m jacked for the rest of this season!
