Boswell was open on the inbounds! What else was KJ looking for there?
And our basic defensive scheme isn't working tonight. We go over every screen, including the ones set out in the parking lot, which leads to dribble drive after dribble drive for Maryland. They don't want threes, they want shots in the paint. We take away the threes they don't want and allow them to get into the paint, which is exactly what they want. Hopefully an adjustment gets made here in the second half.

Then KJ not wanting to pass it to an open Boswell leads to another turnover, a lot of disconnection on the floor in general

This team is extremely frustrating, and we've had a few the last few years (obviously last year's was an exception).

This team lacks a post presence tonight. When you don't have your center, who the offense runs through, and your 6th man..... someone has to step up in a big way. This isn't focus. This is flat out shorthanded.
Not this game. He's losing track of his man all the time on defense and is making freshman turnovers that have led to a bunch of easy terp points.

When you play a team with Tomi and you are hitting shots, you can take some risks. But in a rock fight when you have no ability to stop their interior scoring, those sloppy and careless plays take away any chance to win....every possession needs efficiency and focus.
Saw the same. Feel like the refs are gaslighting me with some of these calls.
Heads are simply not in the game. These are atrocious turnovers and some stupid shots sprinkled in.

The level of difficulty is already so high with Tomi out and yet we are being insanely casual with the ball and shooting fadeaways from two feet inside the three-point line. Please, just lock in.

This has been our weakness all year. Any team that can run a high ball screen gets whatever matchup they want against us
