Got to see both spectrums of IL in the same game today. First 25-30 minutes were great. We were locked in, focused, playing hard. Last 10-15 we were unfocused, undisciplined, and looked disinterested.

This team is good and could be great, but they need to learn how to bring effort for 40 minutes.

I’m just ignore the last 3 minutes because ultimately it doesn’t matter. Remember the last 2 minutes at Penn State last year? Yeah who ultimately cares when March rolls around.

We had a 37 minute answer to a woeful game. Some of the comments in the last postgame thread by “insiders” were actually insane. This team is still talented and very together. Also, for whatever it’s worth, Brad definitely still has that juice.

Every minute matters! That is what is taught and coached! If the starters are in, then that means every minute matters for the subs who have taken their place. Every minute matters until the final buzzer. You are practicing/game to beat the best team on your schedule and getting ready for that opportunity when it finally arrives. Each moment of practice and game is setting you up for the ultimate challenge whenever that game finally arrives. That is what we do not get from the University of Illinois basketball coaching staff.

Can anyone just take a win? Anyone? This drives me up a wall.that every single win has to be a 39 point win on the road against Oregon or they should be embarrassed? Other teams play well, too.
