Glad I had what would normally be an obscure MEAC game as the third game on my multiview. Norfolk State had 2.2 seconds left in a 78-78 game against North Carolina Central, and Brian Moore hit a leaning 28-footer while being fouled with 0.7 left. He missed the free throw, and NC Central missed the last-gasp shot.
The fact that there was a foul actually took some of the buzzer-beating drama out of the shot, because Norfolk State drew up a beauty of a full-court play to get the shot.

yes they said it on the broadcast. could have been wrong in fact it seems unlikely over 20 years to never lose on a monday night. But it was on ESPN so facts are not always required.

Looked at last years schedule and they lost at Kansas State and Texas Tech on Monday. Looked a few years back and they had other road losses on Monday’s, but no home losses.

The stat is for the ESPN Big Monday program, not just any old game on a Monday, and is only for home games. He has lost road games on Big Monday.
