11pts 6assists 5rebounds in 20 minutes with 1 steal and 1 block

I watched parts of the game and it shocks me he can't find more of a consistent role. High energy guy that can fill up the stat sheet on a team where they are kind mediocre at the guard position (at least this season) other than Edwards.
I think part of it is the politics of the NBA- the front office made a horrendous trade to give away KAT, an All- Star center avg 24 and 13 for the Knick’s for an average starter in Randle and a very below avg player in Divincenzo - while it may have been a salary cap move, it hurt the team significantly and playing Divincenzo was likely to try to justify the value. Plus there’s the veteran vs rookie dynamic that many coaches have a bias on

But they are a better team with TSJ playing for Divincenzo minutes and that should have been obvious from the start

If I'm T Shannon I would feel slow played and look for the first reasonable trade out.

TSJ will erupt when he gets tick. The coach is obviously no talent scout.
Luckily this isn't the MLB, so there isn't any service time or otherwise issue. He's getting paid. He also played over 4000 minutes in 5 full seasons of college ball, a little rest might have done him some good.

As long as he shows out when he has the opportunity, he'll be fine.

I watched some of the time he played. It was very similar to when Ayo was first playing. Go stand in the corner while one or two others go one on one. Not much of an offense.

TJ 13 points in 12 minutes. And a halftime buzzer beater!
I truly believe he would be the ROY frontrunner right now if he was getting the minutes the type of minutes that Jaylen Wells is getting for Memphis.

I think it would come down to Castle, TJ, and Buzelis by the end of the year.

He definitely will show out...

he possibly could have been all rookie team if he was somewhere else

Hence the decline in everyone's interest in the NBA... It seemed a major event when TSJ got to go from one corner to the other. I get the analytics, but the rules need adjustment as the pro game is becoming unwatchable.

Got a chance to meet TJ at the signing Saturday and dude was so incredibly polite, even complimented me on my jacket. This is after an hour and a half of being on his feet giving an interview, signing stuff non-stop, getting pictures taken. And then he does something like this and he continues to make us even prouder.

What a solid dude. Incredible response from a great young man.

Disgusting. I haven't been this upset since the Malace at the Palace. Ban him to send the message that this type of affrontery won't be tolerated in today's NBA.

(LOL)

Who scores more NBA points?

TSJ
KJ
WR - Riley is my guess

Come back to this post in 2030 and see how it aged...
Career or PPG? Because KJ and WR will have the advantage of being drafted a lot younger and hopefully not be wasted on a team where they were kept from playing because of a stupid trade.
