God love our fans trying to find any answer to justify why the player who went 27th in a bad draft can't get minutes on a mediocre team.
Dude is averaging 37 points per game in the g league and you don't think he could be getting legitimate minutes in the NBA?

Jaylen Wells was the 39th pick in the same draft and is getting 26 minutes a game for the grizzlies.

TJ is a better basketball player than Wells. Situation matters.

Watching a Euroleague game between Real Madrid and Efes Istanbul. One guy caught my eye on the Real Madrid team when he dribbled the entire court in like 3 seconds and scored, so I had to google him. Apparently he only recently signed with Real Madrid after spending a few seasons with a smaller Spanish team. His name is Andres Feliz. So now in addition to Kendrick Nunn, Illini have even more representation on the top4 teams in Europe.

While I get that there are a lot of schools that have former players earning money playing around the world, I hope that our DIA continues to promote, give regular updates, and and basically spam all this info online for people to see. Does nothing but put out positive vibes for the school.... And I fully expect someone to respond with the Vibez gif..... I thought I had it saved, but no.....

And the Bucks just dumped their first-round draft pick in a trade today.

I get the T-Wolves were just shy of the Finals last season, but you would have thought they would have drafted someone with a plan of how they would have contributed.

TSJ could have been a big contributor with the Bucks, particularly with Middleton and AJ Johnson not doing well.

Rim rocker dunk , our man got a few ticks, 5 pts,

Coach says TJ is “extremely close” whatever that means.

Killing the G League for two games earned him a spot back on the NBA pine. Hope he gets on the court before he is eligible first social security

Shannon finally getting minutes. Having a good game against the Bucks.

11pts 6assists 5rebounds in 20 minutes with 1 steal and 1 block

I watched parts of the game and it shocks me he can't find more of a consistent role. High energy guy that can fill up the stat sheet on a team where they are kind mediocre at the guard position (at least this season) other than Edwards.

What took them so long. He had all these skills when they drafted him. He tears up the G league, embarrassed the front office. Yet he still rode the pine. Bafffling.

If I'm T Shannon I would feel slow played and look for the first reasonable trade out.

TSJ will erupt when he gets tick. The coach is obviously no talent scout.
