Yeah, that's insane. He's a 40% shooter from 3 over the past 2 seasons. He's been cold, but actually planning to give a shooter like him wide open looks is completely nonsensical. At least you put "analytics" in quotes because no actual person who performs analytics for a living (hell or even a hobby) would suggest that. Just crazy.

It's nice to watch a team that has a gameplay offensively and understands defensive assignments and when they can exploit on both ends. Unfortunately, it's tonight's opponent.
