Payton Sandfort T'd up in Oregon vs Iowa. The Oregon guy must have made fun of his significant gray patch in his hair and how that must suck to have gray hair as a college student.

And to be totally honest, the derth of depth on the squad has been exposed by the injuries and illnesses.

Let's not ignore the failing of recruiting Cary Booth.

Let's not ignore the odd situation of Tre White. I'll not be more specific about others.

So yes, injuries and illnesses have been terribly challenging. But staff failures in recruiting have contributed hugely to these challenges. We have to own this.

We were a good team at a point in time. Then the injuries started to derail things and have not been able to get it back on track since.
It sucks to be trending down into an abyss.... and watching others (like Mizzou) gaining momentum and finishing strong.

Even if we get healthy.... I think we have lost significant confidence and will have to start from scratch on having "swagger".

Watching the Bradley- Illinois State game (I’m a BU alum) and there are some shotmakers on the floor.

I get the discouragement. And yet: we will have two or three key guys back next year, which is a much better foundation for next year's team than what we got this year - which was no foundation at all.

There will be a whole lot of pressure on the staff for the coming year. Good: it's a great opportunity for them to step up, and get it done. No more whining. Win.

Only thing that comes close is that Purdue player from a few years back who was already starting to show signs of male pattern baldness.

Adding insult to our injuries, #15 Missouri just beat #4 Arkansas 110-98. Their 3rd victory against a Top 5 team this year.

A lot has changed since the Illini beat them on Dec. 22nd.
Gates has Missouri playing well...unfortunately.

Mizzou post game... Team is super connected... We are nowhere even close to how together that group is...
