Michigan vs MSU: I don't know what's wrong with me, as there obviously must be something wrong, because I feel like our team could beat either of these teams easily. Except in the case of MSU, we've already lost to them twice this year. Ugh. Maybe our squad will make it happen in Ann Arbor next Sunday.

I really, really like Jase Richardson. I see what Goldin can do, and like that. Wolf is very impressive. And yet ... I'd only want Richardson. Michigan's two bigs, effective and highly-skilled as they are, also bring shortcomings (slow, for example) that bother me.

Okay, I know we play the DaisyPukes tomorrow…and we might be distracted …but there’s been a little too much Michigan love on this board. We need to knock that crap off, pronto…and nip it in the bud. We need to remember who we are. I think we need to watch some reps of Glenn Rice possessions against the Illini in ‘89 on YouTube or something…and get fired back up. Muck Fichigan.

I mean…get that May is a real decent guy supposedly and he’s a major, major upgrade over JuWhiner…But remember, that’s bad for us….In fact, it’s actually supposed to piss is off. I guess I sorta get the begrudging respect for this particular roster of theirs…well….kinda??I love that Indy was trashing Indiana…which I’m all for…I just hate that he had to compliment Michigan to do it.

Hey…Remember that one time when Webber tried to call that TO…what an idiot.
Let’s watch that one on repeat…that’ll bring back some good memories for ya.

Changing the subject, the IWU women are 23-1 and have won the conference outright. They wind up regular season today (2:00 p;m. live stream) at Augustana. Should be a blowout. Next Fri and Sat they will host the conference tournament. Semis Friday, title game on Saturday. Game times TBD. If you live within an hour or so of Bloomington (IL) you might want to watch this exceptional team play. They lack size but should end up regular season at 24-1.

We love to scheme to give one guy shots based on "metrics" instead of just focusing on guarding solidly. How many times have we done that this year resulting in some guy who has hit three 3's all season more than doubling his total in a single game? The answer is several.

At some point, you think you'd realize that if you leave D1 guys that wide open they are going to knock those shots in.

My guess is we do that because it allows us to help/cheat on ball screens which we can't guard very well.

Surprised they called a charge on Wisconsin. I’ve seen the same play called a foul on the defender or play on more often than not especially this season.

Never mind, silly question..I'm sure its because we aren't tough enough defensively or just bad luck...

Watching this HOU-ISU game, noticed that Kellen Sampson, Calvin’s son, is an assistant coach. Didn’t know that.

They also mentioned that Hou has only had 3 players transfer out over the last 10yrs.
