His game against Iowa in the BTT that freshman year was one of my all-time favorites. Would never have guessed watching that day it would turn out like this. I might have to go re-watch the highlights of that game to get me out of these Illini blues.

Rick Pitino has to be coach of the year nationally. St John’s is ranked in the AP top 10. They haven’t been ranked that high in a season since 99-00. 25 years.

If they miss out on NCAAT, they are very likely to be one of the two B1G teams playing in the College Basketball Crown. They will not skip that, due to the money involved.
I agree except it is IU’s fanbase. We heard them with our own ears at their Assembly Hall, not just on Twitter lol

I would like to see Brad recruit good high school players and maybe 1-2 transfers but not 8-9. I think we lose several players to portal, I hope not because I think they have something to prove to Illini fans that they really aren't that bad. Couple that with Brad developing an offense that doesn't just shoot 3's because eventually they will fall in approach. Down deep the talent is there, and we tend to forget how young this squad really is. Just give us 1 more year to develop the talent, strengthen Will, Dra, Tomi and KJ physically. Hope Rez can develop a 10' jump shot, he is a monster around the basket and stay in the game. Maybe I have a pipe dream.
