Blues-Jets.....Blues up 2-0 end 2nd period.....the 2nd period was possibly the Blues best period of the season , with Kyrou and Holloway scoring goals 39 seconds apart.....

LETS GO BLUES !!!!!

Blues now ahead 3-0 with 6:30 left 3rd in the period....Kyrou got his 2nd goal of the game on an awesome spin around shot in the slot....

THAT'S A WINNER !!!!!

Blues win 4-1 in their first game on a 4 game road trip through Western Canada....

Thomas with an ENG for the final tally as the Blues played one of their best games of the season....

They outshot the Jets 19-3 in the 2nd period...

The turnaround by the Blues is remarkable since the coaching change...

A lot more energy and smarter decisions on the forecheck and much better passing also.....

LET'S GO BLUES !!!!

Blues lead the Flames at the 1st intermission by the score of 2-1.....

Bolduc & Thomas with the goals for the Blues...

The Blues are fun to watch again with an exciting brand now...

3 things are responsible for the turnaround by the Blues...

1. Coaching change...
No brainer there...
2. Return of Robert Thomas...most valuable player by far..
3. Return of Philip Broberg...very shrewd offer sheet pickup by Army....was off to his best start of his career and since his return the D has stabilized big time....

Those 3 things have made old pru very very happy .....

They really really have..

Bringing this back to the front page as we're just 3 points out of a playoff spot. I know it hasn't been a great season, but I've watched a few games recently and have seen some bright spots.

Safe to say you guys are happy with the offer sheet acquisitions? I haven't watch any Blues hockey, but I really liked Broberg in the playoffs last year and the stats for both look good this year. Seemed like a really smart way to acquire a couple of young NHL-ready players.

Still seeing some speculation out there that we are deadline sellers, but I have a hard time seeing that being justified with how close we are. Also not sure we are buyers, however. It might be a stand pat situation

Yes, pretty happy with both. A sneaky good move for a team that seems mostly unwilling to spend, just like their baseball counterpart. And I liked the Cam Fowler trade. All three are contributors on a team that has some pretty good potential. Tough road trip right now though after climbing back into the playoff discussion.

100%...both have been two of our better players all year. Both young, great speed and long runways.

I'm happy to be able to watch them again now since Fanduel Sports Network is streaming through Prime Video now.

I think what happens tonight in So Cal will help determine a lot.
