Not our usual sauce? Plussed up on assists (way above average I’d guess) and hardly any offensive rebounds which is usually a difference maker we rely on.
Happy for KJ, Will, Trent, Ben, Tomis..all pulled through with clutch shots

Deep bow of respect to this young Fighting Illini team...they earned and deserved the win with a good infection of noquititis!!!! Purdue played a very good game but went cold at the wrong time...something we know much about. Overall a great game to watch and wonderful example of a myriad of skills by two solid teams. Thanks to Will Riley and Tre White for exceptional play tonight and KJ for his dagger when needed. Hummer hit a couple of big shots down the stretch two with some good rebounding and a couple of good defensive possessions also. We needed them all tonight and the only disappointment was the DGL did not have have a big moment in sending Purduie to the loser's locker room. Hope we can use the momentum over the next 3 weeks!!! Go Illini !!

Great win tonight. What a closing the guys did in the last 4 min. Five starters in double figures. Go Illini.
Huge win. Really loved the way we kept competing even when 8-10 down at times. We could have shut down and caved like some previous games this season but we kept fighting and it paid off big time.

I thought we were screwed when we went down 5 with 3:00 left after all those turnovers. But the team played strong and was awesome down the stretch.
This game meant a lot as my former company’s CEO went to Purdue. He laid me off after 26 years. So I can firmly say F-U to JM!!! Thanks for that Illini, I needed the catharsis.
