What a game! I don't hate this Michigan team, to be honest.
Queen drives me nuts chewing on his mouth guard, his high fiving no one after a free throw, and just the smug aura of him
The only thing I know ow for sure is the B10 makes no sense to me...

and how is it, something so simple as pick the ball up at half court or stop the ball, college players don't do this.. this is taught in middle school.. well when I was in middle school.

Michigan destroyed Maryland on the boards tonight, out rebounded them by 30. Clear sign of tired legs for Maryland
Michigan outrebounded Maryland 47-18.
The SCUM played a physical game against Maryland and won at the end. Imagine if the Illini were mentally tough [ didn't run and hide when punched in the mouth] of was more of a physical team instead of letting everybody push them around. Then maybe just maybe they could at least compete with the top teams instead of putting their tail between their legs and getting pounded inrto submission.

A team that has 8 Q1 wins not being mentally tough? And we beat that Michigan team you are praising by 20 on their home court. So I suppose Alabama is not mentally tough either today by your logic. Mentally tough has nothing to do with it. Sometimes the matchups aren't in your favor.

Michigan is a physical, older team with two good big men. If you can neutralize Queen because Reese is inconsistent as well as Maryland guards then you can beat Maryland.
This team is not mentally tough... beating a team doesn't make you mentally tough. It is how you respond when you as a team get punched in the face..
How many 20 point losses does Bama have? oh, I see 1, that was today and that is because Florida put up 104. Bama still scored 82. Florida is a top 5 team in the country..
Now lets look at our beloved this year.. 4 losses by 20 points or more with THREE OF THOSE LOSES OUT OF THE LAST 7 GAMES... We have seen this team get punked multiple times this year and it start with the exhibition. To be honest, It starts with KJ, he is the most obvious mentally soft one on the team, Carey booth might be 2nd, and then its a pick 'em.
Mentally soft can mean a lot of things, but I mean it in this way. When things don't go your way, how do you respond? Do you stick to what you know works or do you revert to what doesn't and continue to take the easy way out. That is what we see with this team. When things get tough, they stop playing defense and begin standing around on offense while someone chucks up a bad 3 with 20 seconds on the clock.. This is the sign of a mental weak team.. I think it will help when we get a new defensive coach who will put some bite back into whatever team we have next year...
And tactics for neutralizing an unconscious, 3p draining Rice helps too.

Wow ok. This is all I needed to read to know you have no idea what you are talking about. When someone says a team or player is not mentally they really have no clue what they are talking. They just like to use that term whenever a team loses. I didn't see you saying this team is not mentally tough after we beat Oregon by 32, Michigan by 20, IU by 25 all on the road. Beat Purdue, UCLA,Wisconsin, Mizzou/Arkansas on neutral floors. Played through injuries and illnesses but it's only when we lose. Interesting.
