It pains me to say it, but the SEC teams look much more athletic and physical than the Big Ten teams. I’d be surprised if a Big Ten team makes it to the elite 8. However, I am usually wrong about these things. Go Illini!

Tonje did a lot of similar settling like Storr did last year in the championship I thought. Think this team is better built for a run but that would make me a bit nervous going forward if I were a Wisconsin fan. Probably more fatigue related than anything.

Dusty May. I know Indiana is wishing they hired this guy last year. Wisconsin has to feel sick to their stomachs. Back to back years losing in the title game.

Edit time expired…: I guess I’ve gotten spoiled that we’ve been fighting for B1G titles year in and year out, plus I hate how we got eliminated this year. It drives me nuts that we can come into a game against Maryland not being amped up, and that we keep losing to them. Plus, I just have a bad feeling about how we fare in the tournament. I just feel like we’re going to lose one of two ways within the first weekend: either due to low energy or getting out-coached.

DePaul in the Crown along with Georgetown. With the NCAA going deep into some conferences for NCAAT bids, the bottom part of these secondary tournaments are bad. I think Wash made it. Beavers are in the Crown and playing 12th placed Big 12 UCF. People going to be lined up around sports bars all over America to get a good seat for that one.
