They haven't won at Rupp since 2008 so it's not like they'll have an advantage there.

They'll have a home crowd advantage, which helps a lot. Auburn is strong of course but still a disadvantage for what is the #1 overall seed

Clearly they didn’t value the ACC by giving Louisville an 8 seed. But with that thinking UNC has no business in. There were definitely some behind the scenes calls to make this happen. Isn’t someone from UNC part of the committee?
