If that's her concern, that kind of trouble could be found at Idaho as well.
To be fair, my response was kind of flippant. I can totally understand if a couple who spent so many years on the West Coast wanted to move from Florida to be closer to their roots. But if there are issues around the Title IX allegations and there's any truth to them at all (I'm assuming innocence until proven guilty, as I remember what happened to TSJ in the court of public opinion), then being on a college campus isn't going to lessen those concerns.

@msphdillini Sorry I cannot let this slide. This is a moronic statement.

No one will take Tyler, not even high-schools. Looks like there is unwritten clause in BU's contract to keep Tyler on the coaching table.

He could pick almost any job in the State of Illinois and within a few years, talent or not to begin with, would have a juggernaut.

Are you speculating or do you have actual facts?

From the previous Coaching Carousel thread, Mark Few has gone to the Sweet 16 13 times (over the last 24 years that there was a tournament)

I believe the last sentence was msphdillini's quote from the previous thread.

I have a pretty hard time believing that a coach who has led the offensive game-planning for a team that's had two straight seasons of being in the 90th percentile or higher (even with this year being thought of as something of a down year) wouldn't even be hired by high schools. But hey, what do I know?

Your snark is noted.

Not only did I amend my original post to account for the data I was using was from 2021…… I also pointed it out when someone made a similar post as yours.

However, the interesting thing to note that also helps my original post in that thread is that the reason they have made 13/24 is because of a historic run of 9 straight that only has been accomplished 3 times since 1985.

Thanks for playing.

To be fair to both @band camp and @FrankNitty30 , I think you're kind of talking past each other. The original quote about Tyler not even being qualified to coach a high school team didn't come from FrankNitty30. It came from a different poster in a closed thread, so trying to show that as a quote from the poster in question was difficult.

I can only speak for myself, but my son's high school (large-school classification in Central Iowa) is in the market for a head coach. I can assure you that if Tyler Underwood was interested in coaching this high school team (my son doesn't play basketball, so no direct interest here), I'd fully support that hire.

Look at your current high school in your area….. speculate whether they would take a former Division 1 assistant coach, a former Division 1 player, and the person responsible for a historically efficient offense last year and a top 10 efficient offense this year.

Can you speculate on that for me?
I believe that they WOULD hire that applicant.
Apologies I misread your post?

He'd be one of the most highly qualified HS coaches in the country. No question.
