Xavier and Loyola are two TOTALLY sets of circumstances. Ayo had an awful game, Kofi had an awful game and versus a team that we had no business losing to.This feels like a Loyola setup for Friday.
Xavier is going to be a pick 'em.
Better matchup for us between the them and Texas and this will/should be close to a home game for us.

I feel better about Tomi being able to play a little looser because I think even if he picks up a couple fouls, we can steal minutes with Ben at the 5 against Xavier. If Tomi is shooting it early, X gonna be in trouble.

On the season, Texas is ranked 57th in defensive efficiency on KenPom. We’re 41st. So as bad as our defense has been (and I’m sure we’ve had months where ours is much worse than 41), on the season, our defense is better.
