I think Chester should absolutely take the job given the offer. It is life changing money whether he succeeds or not. If he succeeds, great. If he tanks after 1-2 years, he got the experience, and can either go back to being an AC, and knows exactly what additional skills he needs to learn/practice before his next attempt, or just retire wherever he wants.I'm rooting for Chester too, but I don't think he's a no brainer for WVU. He's only been at the school for one year and he has never been a head coach at any level.
Plus he's a solid recruiter, but he's never been one to bring in blue chip talent. I don't think they should hire him at this point in his career and frankly I don't think it would be a good idea for Chester to take that job right now.
