Can either of them guard? Tomi is a huge pushover in the lane. Has no low center of gravity and gets abused by people smaller.

This is the thread that interests me now. Actually, it has been the one that has interested me for about 3 weeks now. Next season's team is in much better position than this year's was at this point. A blunt discussion with our AD could do wonders for our wandering head coach.

By wandering, I don't mean his silly searches for a few dollars more. I mean his unclear vision for what it takes to win when it matters most. I think he can get his act together.

I think its imperative to have your key bench guys be seniors. It's their last go around and have no choice but be bought in all year and all game. Not thinking about where to transfer next and don't care about the team.

Or a slightly-amended version of your point: MOSTLY old. A young star is fine. But our head coach needs to get it clear in his great big fat head that relying on near-100% turnover, with star 18-year olds as your go-to guys, is obviously not going to work.

Wake up, BU. Tonight, by midnight. And get your rear working on next year. Start by making sure we keep the 3-4 guys that must be kept (Tomi, Rez, Kylan, maybe Tre).

I hope our next alpha is not a kid learning the game and instead is able to step in and win.

That is a VERY tall order for any freshman. It does happen though. I am hoping for a transfer, not a kid who'll end up an NBA star someday. I want an Illini star.

I hope those who have been brought up are all back. That said, wouldn't be surprised if any portaled.
