Not the OP, but I think he means 100% legitimate as 100% they happened.

The Twitter post that started this thread has a lot of falsehoods because it’s a parody account.

The OP was simply making sure everyone knew Hurley’s comments were real, and not part of the falsehoods. (Which I think was known by most since they were in the video)

I can understand an AD or coach getting pissed the media member wouldn't come to them or give them a heads up first before posting. While the reporter of course is under no obligation to do that, often you might to keep a strong and more open relationship. Threatening the guy's livelihood is idiotic from the AD though. Even if there's only anger and frustration with no intent there that's still at the very least a suspension due to lack of common sense.

The reporter was from North Carolina and owes Uconn nothing. They weren't on home turf. The man was doing his job. I hope the Uconn AD took the initiative to make the apology of his own accord. Since it was on the reporter's video and likely others as well, hard to get that $h#t back in the horse.
And yes, very lucky to have JW.

Legitimate as in they were said. There is no rumor or misinterpretation. There could have been some confusion with that parody account, so I was just setting the facts that Dan Hurley was verified making those comments.

Yeah, it's a weird parody account, he mixes in real news with fake news, but the fake news isn't funny, it's just fake. Like saying KenPom falsifies stats etc. it would be one thing if there were onion style jokes in there, but it's just an odd AI account and not funny

don't think the apple fell far from the tree, there is no one that thinks more of Danny Hurley, than Danny Hurley. And admit it, if this guy came into your area, looking as wild eyed as he can look, you would be a little uneasy.
