I am boycotting the rest of the NCAA. When the portal gets more ink and pixels than March Madness, count me out of the whole mess.

As a matter of fact, let me be the first to claim April Madness as the name of the battle for portal gold.

I donā€™t see any possible good ending to this mess. The coffers are open.

I don't think you really want to open that can of worms. Sampson appears to be much more involved in both the offense and defense than BU and has a great eye for talent... regardless of what happened between him and the U of I about 20 years ago. Sampson has his son positioned as the coach in waiting and has at least one other family member employed by the team. The coach in waiting (his son) has worked at other universities and his father throughout the past 20 years.

I get your point though. Houston knows how to play tough defense, and they are very intense. They very seldom get blown out. We could really use a coach with defensive acumen.

Yep watching Tenn and Houston play D makes me long for days when we picked up 94 feet. That was part of our problem this year, we could not or would not pressure the ball for full shot clock. Tough to play catch up when the other guys burn clock every possession

We can only hope Michigan State saves this NCAA tournament. (I hate saying that.)

MSU just missed 4 straight s point attempts on one possession. 8 straight overall.. and they aren't even close shot attempts

auburn looking to make it just the second time a final four will consist of all one seeds (2007). pretty much sups up this tournament.

I give Michigan State credit. They had a terrible stretch and got punched in the mouth. However, they got up off the deck and have made it a game by halftime. Some of that Pizza Hut parking lot toughness sorely missing from the Illini.
