This was what I was thinking as well but I wanted to ask. Is this the two changes that are for sure happening? Are they giving Hamer the chance to find a job before they announce, or wrapping up the coaches that will be in those positions before they announce?
Hopefully those changes are the ones we want

It would be great to have Tomi and Z play here, along with another big that is physical to replace Morez.
It is a no brainer … Brad just needs to get the freaking deal done and he’s working on it …
I expect Tomi & Z both to be in the orange and blue next year …
I'd take him over Dix (although he's probably less likelier)

Big Z seems like a perfect guy to sub in for his brother, and for end of game offense/defense substitutions, since Z is a much better shot blocker.

I think the people I talk to who think Brad may be a little “checked out” are still accurate in a way …
Big Z has been a target for months now … That’s old news …
Let’s get aggressive on some of these new targets … Get Hamer off the dang staff … Demote Kwa … Hire 2 new coaches and get cooking in the portal …
They just wanna see Brad turn up the heat and cook … They wanna see that fire he had in the NCAAT games carry over into the off season …

Entering the portal from Arkansas was never going to be a negative for the Illini...
Technically speaking, it would be a negative for the Illini if he were to enter the draft (if he must stay in).
The primary positive is that we have his brother here. Nothing else matters. Time for Brad to seal the deal. This seems to be about as easy as it comes.

Is it possible he is working the coaching side more than the portal right now and that is what makes it seem like he is a little checked out? (Not being a smart !!!, honest questions)
If Big Z comes can we get a final answer on how to pronounce their name? It was pointed out during the tournament that they say Ivicic differently (or at least their schools did)

Positive as in it’s highly unlikely he enters. Likely, providing the Illini a fantastic opportunity. Back to school seems a guarantee. And even if Tomi enters the Draft, it’s back to Illini almost certainly.
