Genuinely curious. Bulls fans, are you taking KJ if he falls to the ~10th pick? And would you rather have Will or KJ?
Haven't gotten to watch much of the Bulls this year with the network bs, but the roster is full of guards. Unless they get off a lot of contracts or feel KJ is a can't miss I dont see it. Then again they did extend Patrick Williams....

honestly... probably. we desperately need size, athleticism and defense but theres not a lot of it on the board. if maluach and murray-boyles are gone and its KJ and a bunch of other guards? probably just take KJ and figure it out.

Will theoretically fits better, but not sure we should even be worrying about the current mess of a roster.

I’m honestly not a big KJ fan as a lottery pick at the NBA level. Too loose of a handle, below average NBA passer and shooter. Average NBA athleticism at the point guard position . Below average strength. Not sure of any metric where he would grade out as better than average. Maybe intelligence and hard work? So don’t want him on the Bulls

Craftsmanship in the pick and roll and finishing ability through traffic at the rim.

At times later in the year he was just straight up bad. But the things he showed flashes of are exactly what the NBA is looking for.

It's a good question with the Bulls so loaded at that lead/combo guard position.

I'm a bit more skeptical of Will NBA-wise, I'm just not sure how special he is athletically. Natural born scorer, but NBA benches are full of guys like that. Am I 1000% sure he's better than Malcolm Hill in the NBA?

Will for the Bulls makes more sense.
Riley seems like he would be a bit redundant with Buzelis.

Kasparis to the bulls would be an interesting add and you could protect him a bit by letting him play off ball next to Giddey. I think you could make an argument for Knuepel too.

Obviously depends on where they pick and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bulls get "lucky" in this lottery but I think Malauch would be their best fit. He is going to a be a perennial dPOY candidate and I think his shot will develop(looks good and solid free throw shooter). Malauch should be getting more hype as a potential 1st overall pick and definitely top 2 but I see him getting mocked closer to 10 which is insane to me.

Bulls have so many needs a guard like KJ is NOT one of them. Not going to happen but he needs another year of college basketball. Heck, Michael Jordan played 3 years in college, he turned out fine

I think that Riley could play the two or the three, and would be great along side Giddey. Also , could eliminate the need to extend Huerter- who I really like. Maluach scares me; could be a superstar, or could be a very good rim running center with very little offense. Also love Essengue with that pick.

I think Knueppel is going to be great in the NBA. He reminds me of Devin Booker

I don't think the Bulls will be in a good spot to draft KJ or Will. KJ will go too early and Will should go later than their projected pick.

You obviously like Maluach more than most. There is zero question in my, and most people’s eyes, on who is #1. I think Maluach is a great prospect, but I wouldn’t even consider him before 4. Flagg has an All-Star floor, and MVP potential. You don’t need an over-active imagination to see both Harper and Bailey becoming franchise players, though it will probably take a couple years to see what they will become.

Maluach has a pretty high floor as a rim protector/ rebounder/ pick and roll finisher and potential DPOY type, but not an MVP. Maybe there is a jump shot in there, but it’s more likely he’s a Tyson Chandler type, which is certainly worthy of a high pick, but you wouldn’t pass up potential franchise guys to get him.

A mock I saw this morning had WR going late 1R to Boston

To me it's less about exact spot and more how many spots ahead of the second round do they project? As long as he's consistently mocked ahead of say pick #28 I'd say he's a first round lock.

Post NCAA Tourney Mock Draft

KJ 10, Riley 16, no Sarr
This actually has KJ at 9.

Wild that we might have two top 15 picks. Makes me long for the days when this board would spend years pining over guys like XRM, Quentin Snider, EJ Liddell........meanwhile now we sign NBA draft picks in May/June without hearing much about them beforehand lol

How on earth did the Bulls find their way all the way back to the 12th pick? Their roster is AWFUL.. They had one job and that was to tank for a really talented draft. I would love for the Bulls to land Queen, but I'm afraid they may have screwed themselves out of it.
Coby White and Josh Giddey 🤣

Coby was the NBA Eastern Conference player of the month in March. Giddey has been player out of his mind since Lavine left.

Coby/Giddey/Buzelis are actually pretty fun to watch. Even if the upside there probably isn't more than a play-in lower East seed.

Ad a low lottery pick this year, and two probable mid frps next year. Maybe a good free agent and / or a trade... hope springs eternal, lol.
