This is really an ideal get for the program.Its like having a pair of twins replace the last ones.. I'm still hoping like a Serah Williams type comes along,and maybe a 3 and D 6 foot 2 shooter.Maybe we have that already with the Freshmen.

Could be, but don't underestimate the draw of playing closer to home. I know that Iowa isn't all that far away from Peoria, but Champaign? It will matter to some. We don't always know what's going on in that respect. I don't know if anyone has ever done a study on it or not. But I wonder if you were to compare the female sports to the men's, which stay closer to home. I only have daughters, and they roam the world, so I cannot speak from immediate experience, but I can speak from intuition and having my larger expanded family where the females outnumber the males by 2 to 1. I know which side I would I would bet the farm on, lol.

Will we have the youngest team in the country next year based on eligibility? Based on what we have right now there will be no seniors and only one junior. Of course, we could get older yet through the portal. Could be a learning year next year but the entire team could return the following year.

This is exactly why I believe that a sizable NIL investment This year would be extraordinarily beneficial to the teams national profile, winning results, attendance increases,and really give that fab five a chance to really season up for sustainable success so they can keep everything rolling along at this rate of success.This is the state where the term March Madness was created and hoping it's getting a lot closer to the men's team devoted fans.

Agree, too much uncertainty with that group. Hayven did not look like more than a spot minutes player, hopefully she gets a big year 2 leap.
If they are not ready now. Not sure when they will be. Hayven is a hard worker but did not seem very athletic.

WNBA draft on Monday. I have to think that with three rounds Kendall Bostic has to be considered for a pick in that third round. Staying and playing the extra year made her shooting, scoring a plus. We all know her rebounding was the best in the Big Ten the past three years. Hher ability to defend against bigger players and play physical against anyone her height is going to go over well in the pro game where she will not get called for so many touch fouls. A true team player that can come off the bench and give you minutes at several positions as she played against the best the past 4 years.
My opinion she gets selected mid to late 3rd round.
