Not worse case scenario but close...especially if top Chicago talent starts heading to Mizzou. We could relive Jeremiah Tilmon...
Tilmon wasnt from anywhere close to Chicago and it was a blessing he didn't come to illinois.

Geoff and OA can recruit Chicago and the rest of the planet pretty well, agreed it would be pretty disgusting to see TA at miznoz but not really a hindrance to Illinois. At least he would be earning a paycheck instead of drawing money from Illinois so he could run his training facility instead of actually coaching the team that's paying him.

I did a poor job phrasing that. I was alluding to missing out on a guy we really wanted and they end up at the Zoo.

I think it's a fair concern, but pretty confident that kids growing up in Chicago do not ever think about Missouri basketball. This is way better than him going to MSU, Michigan, IU, etc.

Adds a little more fuel to the fire for Braggin' Rights as well.

TA is very effective with portal recruiting …

He’s got serious relationships with big time agents …
TA seems like a great relationship builder. If you are able/willing to comment, how strong was he at on the court development and or game-planning? Always felt like he was on the staff to get people here.

How much opportunity did he have to show his skills offensively or defensively gameplay wise with Tyler and Hamer running the show ?

He was by the far the best player development coach we had …

Let’s see how close he gets to the salary he demanded to stay here
Then we should balance against the players lost, the player development that didn't happen, and the future players not secured.

He [Tim Anderson] was by the far the best player development coach we had …
This is an important observation, in my view. Positioning Illinois as a developmental school would be aided by having an outstanding individual-skills developer like Tim Anderson. Fletch is fantastic. Staff can point to major development successes. But adding to the staff an individual-skills guy like Anderson would be fantastic.
