Let’s go back to the Dainja Zone!!! lol
Bruce Douglas over Deron Williams at point???Mine would be Bruce Douglas and Kendall Gill
Be a lot more than a few hundred thousand …
Number I heard for Dain was $3 million … With multiple programs ready to pony up …
He made money at Memphis this year but not $3 million …
That "aberrational" percentage could be a trend. He was regarded as one of the best 3pt shooters in his class. I also watch a lot of him at LSU and the quality of shots to took was poor and bombs. Adam can shoot with good shot selection. He also is a solid defenderI just don't understand all of the love for an Adam Miller transfer to Illinois. Especially given the "seven figure" cost, and his numbers from last season. 44.9% from the floor. An aberrational 3-point 42.9%. 9.8 ppg. Only 1.9 apg.
I used to joke that Jamar Chase should get a Chase tattoo and seek an endorsement from Chase Bank.how about putting 'State Farm Illini' in large letters on every Jersey. Split the income based on minutes played?
Sorry but does this mean we could bring CoHawk back for one last time? I vote hell yes!
Interesting. Could be why we see players entering the portal even though they might be out of eligibility.
These are all guys who started and played well enough at a lower level to now be on the radar of high major teams. You want us to ask them to all come here, to a situation where probably only one of them can start and the other 4 are going compete with each other and with returning players for bench minutes, with the hopes that one of them maybe gets a bigger payday at the end, while there is a good chance the other 4 end up tanking their NIL value like Carey Booth? Do I have that right? But maybe it would work with these particular transfers? If they improve modestly, we increase their NIL money (modestly?) to retain them. If they improve dramatically, we make a big increase in their NIL money to keep them on board. I also don't see any of these players being NBA Draft caliber after one season at Illinois.
It most certainly does not mean that.Sorry but does this mean we could bring CoHawk back for one last time? I vote hell yes!
It can only go up.Ben H is going to have a good year for the Illini next year. Save this and we'll find out if I was right or wrong. What's a good year? I don't know. We'll know it when we see it.
He's been the whipping boy for the fan base, and it's not fair to him, IMO.
BTW, I am NOT saying that the Illini SHOULD sign these 5 suggested transfers. I'm just suggesting this scenario as one the team COULD try to play out if ALL of the Illini's top transfer targets (the Big Fish!) are a NO.These are all guys who started and played well enough at a lower level to now be on the radar of high major teams. Yes. Schools have reached out but something drastic would have to happen at this point.
Terrence _____ Jr., a Chicago native transferring home after three seasons interrupted by injury at a Southern school that wears black and red you say?
What are you talking about? Louisville is pretty on point about a lot. Unless you have information that things are going sideways.....Id feel good about his info.
Starts left on release and shoots on the right side. Comes out of ball smooth though!
Cue the "Kofi come back" song that a poster came up with a few years ago. Sorry I don't remember who to give credit to. It was to the tune of the classic Player song, Baby Come BackIs that going to make them stay in school as long as they want? Can we start recruiting Lebron right now?

What about Duke scares you? If it's their pocket, I get it. But if it's just the brand, it doesn't have the same luster. Pay to play era. And we offer more playing time opportunity.I have seen two articles on how Duke is all in on Stojakvic. If that's truly the case it is very unlikely he signs with Illinois.
At what point will the 50-100 guys start opting for the small schools out of high school where they can be a star and get the big $ to transfer to the power 4? New strategy?Thomas is a pass for reasons …
Swope is out of eligibility …
Davis is asking for too much $$$ … More than Ace …
