Can't be stated enough.Yes, players get more expensive the longer teams wait. This is a player's market.
There's a lot of programs, much more desperate than Illinois right now, that still have a ton of money available

Or maybe all it would take is a nice, warm cup of....Me giving my disposable income to make it happen.View attachment 41624
Find someone who loves you as much as Brad loves Ben
That might put us one kidney short of getting Sarr...I don't think anyone would take mine...
Everyone on this board ponies up one kidney?
add ali dibba from Southern ILLIf we don't sign either Stojakovic or Miller, I think the Illini could add:
Malik Thomas, San Francisco, G, Sr, 6'5", 205 pounds, 19.9/3.9/2.1 and 44.4/39.4/85.1
Kennard Davis Jr, Southern Illinois, G, Soph, 6'6", 215 pounds, 16.3/4.9/2.6 and 45.5/37.6/76.3
Isaiah Swope, SLU, Sr, G, 5'10", 175 pounds, 17.1/3.2/4.2 and 43.3/35.9/75.6 OR
Samage Teel, Indiana State, Sr, G, 6'2", 185 pounds, 16.9/4.1/5.2 and 47.3/34.7/78.7
Josh Harris, North Florida, Frosh, F, 6'*', 210 pounds, 13.4/7.1/0.6 and 55.7/33.3/69.5
Again, that would be a decent roster IF (that's a BIG if) we miss out on all of Sarr, Watkins, and Stojakovic.
Pretty sure Sar(r) would cost you a lung, not a kidney.Everyone on this board ponies up one kidney?

I would imagine there's a tipping point. Money gets spent, rosters get filled, and some players may end up priced out and looking for a team. Even if the money is seemingly endless, teams want to feel like they got a decent deal (i.e., not giving a depth piece $1MM), and players need exposure / playing time in order to increase their future value.Yes, players get more expensive the longer teams wait. Yep. Timelines just have to work our way. Andrej should announce first regardless.
That being said, Sarr has been a tough read and I don't really know what to expect from that one.

Did he already get a waiver?Dain has eligibility … But I think he’s staying at Memphis …
Sign me up for Harris. If we don't sign either Stojakovic or Miller, I think the Illini could add:

I mean, Coleman Hawkins waited until June to snag $2M, which was one of the highest values last year. I don't see any real-world indication that waiting costs players anything thus far.I would imagine there's a tipping point. If he needs a waiver it's guaranteed he gets it. He's only played three full seasons.Did he already get a waiver?
Yes, he's a good ballplayer. No problem adding him if we can't get Malik Thomas from USF.add ali dibba from Southern ILL
Exactly.I mean, Coleman Hawkins waited until June to snag $2M, which was one of the highest values last year. I don't see any real-world indication that waiting costs players anything thus far.
Thanks for that info! I need to recalibrate.Thomas is a pass for reasons …
Swope is out of eligibility …
Davis is asking for too much $$$ … More than Ace …
As long as it’s not my liver, I’m good.Everyone on this board ponies up one kidney?
I don’t believe he had any kind of season ending injury his first year at Baylor. I agree he could have a case, but playing any amount of games eliminates a redshirt based on the ruleIf he needs a waiver it's guaranteed he gets it. He's only played three full seasons.
I mean, mine must weigh 40 lbs. I'm sure they could cut it out half and sell the remainder in chunks to many people for good money. As long as it’s not my liver, I’m good.
