Illinois wouldn’t they aren’t the ones paying him.
I wasn't specific and used Illinois generically. I understand that it's a NIL group which get the money together. I was just wondering how structured the group was and if they put anything in place to protect their investment. It seems that would just be an added expense which could be put into the NIL pot. I'm guessing if a big payout NIL player breaks a leg and is out for the season, they just absorb the loss and move on to next year.

Happy Easter Everyone! Could be wrong, but I don't think we see much today in general across the sport. Sit back, enjoy time with family, and I think things are going to get moving pretty quickly starting tomorrow.
You mean these guys are enjoying the holiday instead of scratching our itch for recruitment?

"Stojakovic was one of three players to average at least 17.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 blocks, joining Duke's Cooper Flagg and Auburn's Johni Broome. "
Well uh that's pretty good company let's lock him down as soon as possible.

I do think there is legitimate all American level upside to Stojakovic. People have questioned his shooting but his shot looks mechanically great and he was great from the line this year. It wouldn't surprise me to see him shooting 40+% from 3 on high volume.

Pair a versatile combo guard next to him and go make a run.

It isn’t technically pay to play so I’d imagine there is no investment protection. A player with a broken leg can still get paid for use of name image and likeness.

He's getting over a million ... Oregon is involved now and was in to see him ... Gonzaga still involved ... Baylor has a strong offer out to him ...

Texas was involved but they are on the lower side in terms of their offer ... Right about where we are ...

Really wish Adam would just tell Irvin to shove it and make his own decision ...
I mean, at this point it seems he learned nothing from his first rodeo here.. Clearly listening to handlers like Irvin haven't necessarily reaped fruit for him..

He's an adult at this point- time to make his own decisions

The part they left out. Coleman said”but damn that bag was heavy, spending it has almost made of for 1 and done in the NCAA tournament”

Do you feel the offers he is currently getting are out of whack with the going rate for players his level this off-season?

just waiting for the "there's been a hiccup with Andrej" message. we all know it, just a matter of time. If duke, unc, ky, etc are truly involved, we're not landing him.
